Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; EIT certification required.
• Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering design software.
• Strong technical problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support or manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including design, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, based on experience level.
• Develop engineering drawings, plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations to support project development.
• Utilize engineering design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related programs.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify technical challenges, and recommend effective solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and addressing field-related issues.
• Assist with project proposals, cost estimates, and business development initiatives as needed.
• Stay informed of industry advancements, regulatory changes, and best practices related to water and wastewater infrastructure.
