Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Experience or knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering design software.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and construction methods.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support or manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including design, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, based on experience level.
• Develop engineering drawings, plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations to support project development.
• Utilize engineering design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related programs.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and RFIs.
• Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and business development as needed.
• Stay informed of industry advancements and regulatory changes.
