Job summary

PACE Resources Federal Credit Union in York, PA is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will prepare plans, specifications, and reports, conduct site investigations, and perform design evaluations.

Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil3D is required; EIT is mandatory, PE license preferred. You will coordinate with teams and clients, ensuring code compliance and safety while supporting proposals and ensuring project progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program.
  • EIT certification is required; PE license preferred.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Job Details: York, PA 17401 – Full Time – Water Resources

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist with or manage the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality oversight (level of responsibility based on experience)
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports
  • Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and design evaluations
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, or similar tools
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders throughout project phases
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide recommendations
  • Support proposal development and contribute to pursuit strategies as needed
  • Stay current on water and wastewater regulations, design technologies, and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, etc.)
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication, organization, and project‑management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
