Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring a Senior Engineer / Project Manager – Water Resources for a direct hire in Pittsburgh, PA. This role demands a PE with a strong water/wastewater background to lead projects from planning through construction and to help grow the Water Resources practice.

You will oversee complex water and wastewater projects, mentor junior staff, and manage client relations with municipalities and utilities in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Significant experience in water and/or wastewater engineering.
• Experience with planning, design, or construction of water or wastewater treatment facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pumping stations, treatment systems, and collection/distribution networks.
• Experience managing projects, budgets and schedules.
• Client-facing experience and ability to maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and development of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, system evaluations and technical studies.
• Oversee design efforts from preliminary through construction documents.
• Review drawings, specs, cost estimates and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and permitting requirements.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage multiple projects within budget, schedule and scope.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
