Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Water Resources EIT in Minnesota. The role focuses on entry‑level civil engineering tasks on smaller projects under supervision, with potential to contribute to hydraulics, surveying, and geotechnical work.

You’ll support modeling, drawings, and reporting while gaining field exposure. Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Environmental Eng degree and are pursuing or prepared for the EIT, with 0–2 years of related experience or co‑op experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• EIT designation or ability to take the EIT exam soon.
• 0–2 years of experience; co-op/internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of civil engineering elements including hydraulics, survey, geotechnical, drainage design, and grading.
• Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and geospatial data.
• Prepare civil designs, drawings, specs, and reports with supervision.
• Perform basic calculations and field work.
• Support the civil team during construction including submittal reviews and RFI responses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
