Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources EIT in Wisconsin to join our civil team on smaller projects under supervision of a senior engineer. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer systems for projects, performing calculations, field work, and coordinating tasks.

This entry-level role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and hands-on design using software like Civil3D, GIS, HECRAS, and more. A Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Eng and an EIT or near-term exam are required; 0+ years experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
EIT designation or ability to take the EIT exam in the near future.
0+ years of experience. Previous Co-op/Internship experience preferred.
Education or experience with surface water resources, natural resources, soil science, or hydrogeology would be considered as assets.

Responsibilities

Use knowledge of civil engineering elements including hydraulics, surveying, geotechnical, grading, and utilities.
Assist in creation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and accompanying geospatial data.
Assist team in preparing civil designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports.
Conduct basic calculations and perform duties under supervision of a project engineer.
May perform field work related to pilot and/or construction activities.
Assist civil team during construction with submittal reviews, responses to RFIs, and clarifications.
Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
