Qualifications

  • Knowledge in water resources engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, or related fields.
  • Experience applying quantitative methods to water resources problems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to implement, test, document, and enhance hydrologic, flood risk, and water resources planning tools.
  • Collect, quality-check, analyze, and summarize hydrologic and meteorological data.
  • Develop, calibrate, and apply hydrologic, hydraulic, reservoir, and river-system models for risk assessment.
  • Design reproducible spreadsheets, scripts, databases, and visualization workflows.
  • Evaluate mitigation alternatives under historical and future hydrologic conditions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and communicate results to technical and nontechnical audiences.
