Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Staff Engineer to join our Renewables team in Minnesota locations.

You will support permitting, design, and construction for Solar, Wind, and Battery Storage projects nationwide, coordinating with other water resources engineers to protect communities from flooding and meet stormwater regulations. Ideal for recent civil engineering graduates or those with up to 4 years of experience, with strong writing and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or related field).
• 0–4 years of experience with engineering challenges including stormwater modeling and related analyses.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and prepare detailed reports.
• Contribute to stormwater design, watershed permitting, and FEMA studies.
• Collaborate with teams on projects supporting solar, wind, and battery storage developments.
