Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10–20 years of experience in water resources/hydraulics.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with civil engineering software.
• Interest in hydraulics and river mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientific disciplines as part of Stantec’s Environment Services program.
• Desktop and field studies for water resource projects (dam removal, culvert replacement, bridge hydraulics and scour, flood risk, coastal resilience, stream restoration).
• Prepare documentation and engineering design materials.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
