Job summary

TYG in Dallas seeks a Water Resources Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to support growing US offices. The role emphasizes hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), stormwater management, drainage design, and floodplain analysis within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities include modeling, design, reports, and coordination; occasional field or construction-phase support. Hybrid flexibility and exposure to municipal, infrastructure, industrial, and federal projects are

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in water resources, drainage, stormwater, or H&H engineering.
Proficiency with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS modeling.
Civil 3D and GIS experience preferred.
Experience with floodplain management, drainage studies, and permitting preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, drainage, and floodplain projects.
Design stormwater management and drainage infrastructure.
Conduct watershed studies, floodplain analysis, and drainage assessments.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, plans, and construction documents.
Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams.
Support permitting, feasibility studies, and fieldwork as required.
