Job summary

TYG is seeking Water Resources Engineers across multiple levels to support growth in their US offices, with active hiring in Austin. They welcome engineers from mid-level through senior, depending on experience, with a focus on hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, drainage design, and floodplain analysis.

The role blends technical analysis, design, project delivery, and occasional field or construction-phase support in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil/environmental water resources or related field.
• Experience in water resources, drainage, stormwater, or H&H engineering.
• PE is required for senior roles; EIT acceptable for non-senior roles.
• Experience with HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS; Civil 3D and GIS preferred.
• Experience with floodplain management and permitting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, drainage, and floodplain projects.
• Design stormwater management and drainage infrastructure.
• Conduct watershed studies, floodplain analysis, and drainage assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, plans, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams.
• Support permitting, feasibility studies, and fieldwork as required.

They are open to engineers ranging from mid-level through senior, depending on experience.

This is a strong opportunity for engineers with experience in hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), stormwater management, drainage design, and floodplain analysis who are looking to grow within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The role offers a mix of technical analysis, design, project delivery, and occasional field or construction-phase support.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, drainage, and floodplain projects
• Design stormwater management and drainage infrastructure
• Conduct watershed studies, floodplain analysis, and drainage assessments
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, plans, and construction documents
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Experience in water resources, drainage, stormwater, or H&H engineering

• PE required for senior-level roles, minimum EIT
• Experience with floodplain management, drainage studies, and permitting preferred
