Job summary

Manning Civil is a water resources and civil engineering firm based in the Boise area, specializing in floodplain and hydraulic modeling, FEMA LOMR/CLOMR permitting, stream alteration and restoration, public water system design, and stormwater management throughout the Intermountain West.

WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING

We\'re looking for someone with 3+ years of HEC-RAS production experience - someone who can step into active projects, develop defensible models, and produce clean, submittal-quality deliverables. You\'ll work across hydraulic and floodplain analyses, FEMA MT-2 submittals (CLOMR/LOMR/No-Rise), steady and unsteady simulations, drainage design, and more. Project scale varies, from focused technical studies to larger multi-stakeholder efforts.

You won\'t be working in a vacuum - we\'re a collaborative team and invested in the people who join us.

WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR

• PE license (Idaho or ability to obtain promptly)
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• 5–10 years of relevant hydraulics/water resources experience
• 3+ years of hands-on HEC-RAS experience: geometry setup, model development, simulation runs, troubleshooting, and communicating results
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Someone who takes initiative and follows through
• Civil 3D and GIS experience preferred
