Job summary

Stantec in Florida is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our water infrastructure team. You will assist with planning, design, and development of complex water projects, and gain licensure track experience.

This professional-track role targets graduates with 0 to 4 years of experience, involving analyses, reports, and collaboration with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Developing understanding of water infrastructure design.
• Excellent time management; ownership of tasks, schedule, and budgets.
• Ability to discuss project issues with the team and develop solutions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and related tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop project concepts and support design tasks under supervision.
• Support analyses and evaluations for project decisions.
• Conduct analyses and designs for water/wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with design professionals and resolve conflicts.
• Participate in field work, pilots, and data analysis activities.
• Collaborate with team to complete high-quality projects.
• Familiar with ASTM, AWWA, and client standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
