Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an entry-level water resources engineer in Tampa, FL to develop concepts and assist in planning, design and documentation of complex water infrastructure projects.

The role targets graduates with 0–4 years of experience, offering mentorship to become licensed engineers in Florida and exposure to ASTM/AWWA standards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
EIT or FE exam preferred.
Developing understanding of water infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

Develop project concepts and support design tasks under supervision.
Support analyses and business case evaluations for project decisions.
Conduct analyses and designs for water/wastewater projects (conveyance, storage, stormwater, treatment).
Coordinate with design professionals to resolve conflicts and implement actions.
Participate in field work and data analysis activities.
Collaborate with team to complete high-quality projects.
