Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Engineering Summer Intern in the Water Resources group in our Columbus office. You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering with freshman or sophomore status preferred, and you must have a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required and knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. Typical responsibilities include performing routine calculations under a senior engineer, obtaining drawings from local

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (freshman or sophomore preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; GIS/AutoCAD/MicroStation/Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Perform data analysis of continuous flow and rainfall data.
• Copy and scan project drawings.
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Work with project managers and engineers and take direction from them.
• Work with the Planning, Design, Hydraulic and Hydrology departments.
• Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
