Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Community Design group in our Columbus office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and have a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. The internship offers hands-on experience in municipal design projects, mentorship from senior engineers, and opportunities to contribute to data analysis,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (freshman or sophomore preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under senior engineer
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities
• Perform data analysis of continuous flow and rainfall data
• Copy and scan project related drawings
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools
• Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients
• Maintain a safe working environment
