Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Water Resources group in the Taylor office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (freshman or sophomore status preferred) and possess a valid driver's license.

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (freshman or sophomore preferred).
Valid driver's license.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit preferred.
Strong self-motivation, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
Perform data analysis of continuous flow and rainfall data.
Copy and scan project drawings.
Assist engineers with development of spreadsheet tools.
Ability to work with project managers and engineers and take direction from them.
Work with the Planning department.
Work with the Design (structural) department.
Work with the Hydraulic and Hydrology department.
Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients.
Maintain excellent client relations.
Maintain a safe working environment.
