Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Community Design group in our Columbus office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and possess a valid driver's license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required and knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting engineers on municipal projects, performing calculations, data analysis, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Perform data analysis of rainfall and flow data.
• Copy and scan project drawings.
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to work with project managers and engineers and take direction from them.
• Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
