Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 0–4 years of water resources engineering experience (internships or co-ops allowed).
• Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of water resource projects (drinking water and sanitary sewer networks).
• Perform hydraulic calculations using modeling software and industry tools.
• Support permitting with technical reports and regulatory applications.
• Conduct field investigations and data collection for utility design.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, environmental specialists, and regulators.
• Prepare technical drawings, maps, specs, and reports using AutoCAD and GIS.
• Stay informed on industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
