Job summary

City of Lacey seeks a Water Resources Division Manager to lead the Water Resources Division, overseeing water, wastewater, reclaimed water, and stormwater utilities. You will guide engineering design, budgeting, and conservation programs while coordinating with regional agencies.

The role requires strategic planning, staff supervision, and ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant utility services for City customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Administration, or Business Administration and seven years' related experience.
Minimum three years of supervisory experience (can be concurrent).
Master’s degree with five years of related experience also acceptable.

Responsibilities

Leads, coordinates, and administers the Water Resources Division activities.
Provides engineering design assistance, water quality analysis, and conservation program development.
Oversees capital facilities planning, rate analyses, and regulatory compliance for utility management.
Develops and administers conservation programs and public outreach.
Ensures compliance with public works standards and utility project delivery.
