Job summary

GFT in Tampa, Florida, seeks a Senior Project Manager and Water/Wastewater Design Manager to lead our Water Resources Design Team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will guide municipal and industrial projects, mentor staff, and drive business development while managing scope, schedule, and budget.

You will bring 15+ years in water/wastewater engineering, a Florida PE, and proven leadership in integrated teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater design and related infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) in Florida.
• Progressive experience in evaluation, design, permitting and construction administration.
• Demonstrated leadership managing integrated teams with budget and schedule control.
• Experience in client relations and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities across the Southeast.
• Collaborate with engineering staff, develop study/design standards, lead progress meetings and track budgets.
• Oversee Water/Wastewater Treatment Facility Design including basis of design, specs, calculations and cost estimates.
• Maintain communications with clients and regulatory agencies, including presentations and coordination.
