Job summary

GFT is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to lead substantial infrastructure projects across the Southeast, including water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. You will guide design teams, manage client communications, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a PE, possess 15+ years of experience in water projects, and excel at leadership, client relations, and project management in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
• 15+ years of experience managing substantial water or stormwater projects.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning through construction.
• Provide technical leadership for design, calculations, permitting, reports, and client presentations.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee construction-phase services and ensure contract compliance.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and client agreements.
• Monitor project performance, financials, and resource allocation.
