Qualifikationen

• Graduation from high school and three years of financial records maintenance experience or one year as Accountant Technician I in Nevada State service; or equivalent combo.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and government/cost accounting principles and federal cash flow regulations.
• Ability to supervise accounting clerical staff and provide transactional guidance to program staff.

Aufgaben

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accurate review, approval, and timely processing in Advantage, ePro, BoA Travel Card and P-Card transactions.
• Reconcile weekly Budget Status Reports (BSRs) from DAWN, post correcting Journal Voucher Data Entry transactions, and maintain audit-ready records.
• Process shared cost allocations and salary allocations across budget accounts with precise calculations.
• Develop and update procedural manuals; ensure compliance with State and federal regulations, SAM, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with colleagues and management to communicate discrepancies and implement process improvements.
• Analyze complex fiscal data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions to strengthen internal controls.
