Qualifications

• BS degree required.
• 1–3 years of sales experience in water/wastewater or related industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of water well drilling/water management sales.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to generate leads and close deals.
• Public speaking and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Promote, develop and sell water resources services by building client relationships.
• Develop prospects from current clients, referrals, leads to hit targets.
• Prepare reports on pipeline, forecasting and market trends.
• Plan and attend trade shows to generate leads.
• Maintain contact with Project Managers and Operations to deliver on time and budget.
• Tailor Layne products to meet customer needs and sales goals.
• Prepare bid packages and set margins to meet strategic plan.
• Use CRM to track and forecast project goals.
• Act as the principal contact for customers and coordinate with field crews.
