Job summary

City of Aurora, CO is seeking a Water Services Specialist to provide customer service and field support for contractors, ensuring water quality and safe supply. The role performs testing, line disinfection, flushing, and sampling under Aurora Water standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of related water utility maintenance experience.
• Driver's license with good driving history.
• Knowledge of water distribution and disinfection processes.
• Ability to read blueprints/maps and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversees testing of new water lines and disinfection processes.
• Maintains records in INFOR, OneBook, AMANDA, and related systems.
• Provides customer service to contractors and customers.
• Operates and maintains equipment used in water distribution.
• Ensures compliance with policies and applicable standards.
