Job summary

HOH Water Technology is seeking a Water Quality Engineer to evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial and commercial water treatment systems. You will interpret test data, report findings, and implement solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and safety for client sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field required.
• Experience in industrial water treatment and field engineering preferred.
• Experience managing customer relationships in a technical/industrial environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Assess industrial and commercial water treatment systems across boilers, cooling towers, and related equipment.
• Collect and interpret water testing data, operating conditions, trends, and field observations.
• Troubleshoot water quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and operations to design and support treatment programs.
• Manage an assigned book of customer accounts with regular contact and follow-up.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade systems and improve customer outcomes.
• Visit customer sites for testing, troubleshooting, and program reviews.
