Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies seeks an Industrial & Controls Field Service Representative to provide field service and maintenance for water treatment systems. The role blends electrical, controls, and instrumentation expertise with on-site operations across diverse industrial settings.

The position requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and emphasis on safety; on-call nights and weekends may be required. High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in service/maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; STEM degree preferred.
• Experience in industrial service/maintenance; PLC programming experience a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, instrumentation, and control systems understanding.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on valves, air compressors, ejectors, pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipment.
• Review customer plant installations and compare against reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangements).
• Maintain electrical switchgear and power distribution systems.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and necessary chemicals and replacement parts.
• Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Mentor and train employees and customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Oversee construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and complete all appropriate documentation.
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
