Job summary

Dry Force Austin is seeking motivated Water Mitigation Technicians to join our team. You will assist customers after water, flood, or storm losses by setting up drying equipment, monitoring progress, and helping restore properties to pre-loss condition.

No extensive industry experience is required—we provide training, coaching, and opportunities for advancement. A positive attitude, reliability, and good customer service are essential in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Restoration/construction experience welcomed but not required.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects.
• Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers.
• Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device.
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
• Drive company vehicles safely while following company policies and traffic laws.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed.
