Dry Force Austin seeks a Restoration Technician to assist customers after water, flood, or storm-related losses. You will set up drying equipment, monitor progress, and help restore properties to pre-loss condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Restoration, construction, or labor experience welcomed but not required.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects.
• Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device.
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
• Drive company vehicles safely while following policies and laws.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed.
