Job summary

Dry Force is seeking a motivated Restoration Technician – Water Mitigation in Austin, TX. You will assist customers after water events by setting up drying equipment, monitoring progress, and helping restore properties to pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, extracting water, documenting progress, and following safety protocols. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50+ pounds are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in varying environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Restoration, construction, or labor experience is welcomed but not required.
• IICRC WRT certification is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects.
• Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers.
• Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device.
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
• Drive company vehicles safely while following company policies and traffic laws.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed.
