Job summary

McCabe Restoration in Oxford, MS is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to support the recovery of residential and commercial properties. Reporting to the Restoration Supervisor, you will perform water, fire, and mold mitigation, including demolition, equipment operation, and site stabilization.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in restoration, IICRC/RIA certifications are preferred, and you must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restoration, remediation, or heavy construction experience.
• IICRC WRT/ASD/FSRT or RIA certifications preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment/background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• On-call availability evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site water extraction and fire/moisture mitigation.
• Conduct inspections, moisture mapping, and documentation.
• Demolish and remove damaged materials while distinguishing salvageable items.
• Set up drying environments with LGR dehumidifiers and HEPA scrubbers.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and comply with IICRC/OSHA guidelines.
