Job summary

SERVPRO in Kathleen, GA seeks an Assistant Project Manager/Crew Chief for water restoration. You will lead mitigation crews across water, fire, and mold projects, supervise extraction, drying, and remediation tasks, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

You will coordinate with customers, insurance, and residential clients, manage documentation, and maintain strong communication with management. This role is full-time, on-site with potential travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of water/fire mitigation experience.
• IICRC WRT or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of drying equipment and moisture documentation.
• Valid driver's license and strong customer service skills required.
• Able to work in person and travel to job sites; weekend/on-call rotation.
• Authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the mitigation crew on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation projects.
• Perform and supervise water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and remediation production work.
• Setup and monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings and daily progress.
• Manage and complete jobs according to SERVPRO processes per work order.
• Respond to service calls and coordinate requirements for each job.
• Communicate expectations to technicians and supervise activities and quality of work.
• Explain processes and answer customer questions; build relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers.
• Monitor and respond to customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with internal parties (Job File Coordinator, management).
• Identify safety hazards and enforce safety procedures on site.
