Job summary

City of Cibolo is seeking a Meter Technician to support reliable utility services by installing, maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting water meters and AMI equipment. You will collect field data, complete work orders, and provide courteous service to residents in the community.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least six months in water/wastewater, Texas Class C driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in water or wastewater preferred.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and field devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain water meters and related equipment.
• Complete service orders and document work in the work management system.
• Connect/disconnect water services and assist with AMI troubleshooting.
• Respond to customer concerns and provide professional service.
