Job summary

Gfoat is looking for an Assistant in Bedford, Texas, to support the Utilities and Environmental functions of the Public Works Department. Your main duties will include inspecting water meters, geolocating them, and confirming service line material. You will also rotate through various Public Works divisions, gaining diverse experience.

A high school diploma or GED is required, and a valid Texas Driver's License is essential. The position demands excellent customer service and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Some related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain a Texas B Commercial Driver's License within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete water service line inventories by geo-tagging meter locations.
• Document service address, meter number, and endpoint ID.
• Input necessary data into the ESRI ArcGIS application.
