Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Structural Water Engineer to design and oversee structures supporting water purification facilities, improving resilience and sustainability. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, supervise engineers and technicians, and collaborate across markets including power, data centers and industrial projects.

Hybrid work options exist after onboarding; relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or international equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Holds active engineering licensure to support engineer of record requirements.
• Pre-employment checks may be required (background, drug screen, MVR) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex structural analysis and prepare drawings for water/wastewater facilities and other structures.
• Supervise Structural Engineers and Technicians across US and overseas offices.
• Lead larger production teams and act as responsible charge for projects.
• Perform construction phase duties including site visits, RFIs, and review of submittals.
• Manage design budgets, schedules, and change control in line with BV standards.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers; apply BV design guides.
