Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to lead the design of water purification and treatment facilities. The role focuses on complex structural systems, with collaboration across disciplines and markets including power, data centers, and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate will supervise teams, perform advanced structural analyses, and ensure adherence to codes and BV standards while delivering critical infrastructure projects valued well over $200M.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent.
Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
Holds active engineering registration/licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.
Pre-employment screening including background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

Supervises Structural Engineers and technicians across US and overseas offices.
Executes complex structural analysis and prepares drawings for water/wastewater treatment facilities.
Leads design of complex structures and coordinates with architects and other engineers.
Oversees project budgets, schedules, and design fee estimates to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Provides guidance on design standards, codes, and BV policies.
