Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Middletown, CT is seeking a Project Manager 2 to join our One Water Team and manage drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Northeast.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and regulators, prepare construction documents, and help drive project delivery, growth, and innovation in a collaborative, hybrid work environment. Candidates should have PE licensure, strong leadership, and a passion for mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
• Demonstrated project management experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of projects from concept through construction completion, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and funding requirements.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining relationships and guiding funding options, permitting, and project execution.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight for successful delivery.
• Prepare and oversee construction documents, permits, drawings, specifications, and cost opinions with high-quality standards.
• Attend meetings with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to address needs and resolve design challenges.
• Manage budgets and schedules to keep projects on track and meet client expectations.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities and contribute to proposals and business development.
