Job summary

LVI Associates in Denver, CO is seeking a Project Engineer to support water, wastewater, and water resources projects across the region. You will work with senior technical leaders to deliver municipal infrastructure projects and contribute to environmental stewardship.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and experience in planning, design, and delivery of municipal water infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant consulting engineering experience.
• PE license preferred or obtainable within a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience with municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, or water resources projects.
• Understanding of hydraulic and hydrologic principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering studies, technical evaluations, and planning efforts.
• Assist with the preparation of design drawings, specifications, technical reports, and construction documents.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and design development.
• Contribute to water, wastewater, and water resources projects from planning through construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
• Support construction-phase services and field activities as needed.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and schedule expectations.
• Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and presentations.
