GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a driven Project Engineer to join our water team, offering strong growth, leadership exposure, and impactful project work on water and wastewater infrastructure.

An ideal candidate has design, rehabilitation, permitting, and construction experience, and will lead teams from planning through construction. The role provides opportunities to expand into leadership, gain client exposure, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team delivering meaningful infrastructure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of water/wastewater project experience
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary teams delivering water and wastewater infrastructure solutions from planning through construction.
• Provide design, permitting, bid-phase services, and construction document production.
• Direct and manage a project team of engineers and technicians; mentor junior staff.
