Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a senior water resources/civil infrastructure engineer in North Carolina to lead diverse projects for public and private sector clients. You will oversee technical analyses, design activities, and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

In this role you will mentor junior staff, support proposals and client engagement, manage scopes and budgets, and contribute to business development within a collaborative, growth-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 5+ years of experience in water resources, civil engineering, or infrastructure consulting.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
• Strong understanding of engineering analysis, planning, design, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead water resources and infrastructure projects from planning through final delivery.
• Oversee scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across assignments.
• Direct analyses, studies, modelling efforts, and engineering design activities.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables with quality control.
