Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 1–3 years of design experience, ideally with water projects.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Pennsylvania driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: oversee capital projects including water main replacements and water treatment improvements.
• System Planning & Improvement: prepare studies and reports for future system needs.
• Capital Improvement Plans: support annual CIP development and cost estimation.
• Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: manage permit applications at local, state, and federal levels.
• Bid Process & Contract Management: prepare bid documents and oversee procurement.
• Collaboration & Coordination: work with department heads, consultants, and contractors.
• Financial Management: track budgets and timelines using company systems.
• Professional Development: stay informed on industry trends and regulations.
• Engineering Due Diligence: evaluate infrastructure for potential acquisitions.
• Data Management: maintain maps, hydraulic models, and records.
