Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience: 1–3 years design experience, water-focused.
  • Licensing: E.I.T. certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Licensing: Pennsylvania driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a range of capital projects including water main replacements and tank upgrades.
  • Prepare studies and reports for system planning.
  • Develop annual capital improvement plans and estimate costs.
  • Prepare permit applications and secure approvals.
  • Oversee bid documents and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with design drafters, consultants, and construction managers.
  • Track budgets and timelines using Aqua Pennsylvania's financial systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends through seminars and professional development.
  • Provide technical due diligence for acquisitions and assess infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain system maps and hydraulic models.
