Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 for our Henderson, NV office. You will assist in drawings, specs, and design documents for water projects, support analyses, and help document findings under experienced engineers.

You will prepare technical reports, permit materials, and project documentation, while collecting data on site conditions and regulatory requirements. Expect mentorship and exposure to real-world infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours toward a civil or environmental engineering degree.
• ABET-accredited program by the start of Summer 2027.
• Basic computer skills for entering data into spreadsheets or databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of drawings, specifications, and design documents for water projects.
• Support data collection and basic analyses using established methods.
• Help evaluate design alternatives and document findings.
• Prepare portions of technical reports and permit materials.
• Assist with data collection related to site conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Support construction-phase activities and document management.
• Create basic graphic presentations and supporting materials.
