Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Henderson, NV. You will assist with drawings, specifications, and project documentation under experienced supervision.

This role requires 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree (ABET-accredited). No prior experience is required; familiarity with MS Office and AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred. Strong data collection and basic analysis skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027.
• No prior experience required; candidates currently enrolled in related degree programs are welcome.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and organization of drawings, specs, and project documents.
• Support investigations and planning by data collection and basic analyses.
• Contribute to technical reports by preparing sections and incorporating feedback.
• Assist with shop drawing reviews, records, and on-site observations.
• Gather data on design options, site conditions, and applicable regulations.
