Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead diverse water-related structural projects in the Lexington/ Memphis area. You will perform analyses, design reinforced concrete, masonry and steel structures, and guide project teams through from concept to construction.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of US codes. In-person work with occasionalRemote provisions; opportunities for mentorship and business development are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE license required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant projects.
Experience with spillways, dams, hydropower facilities and water/wastewater infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preliminary and detailed structural analyses and design for water/wastewater facilities and related structures.
Lead or support project teams and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
Prepare and revise documentation, calculations, and construction drawings.
Mentor junior engineers and supervise technical staff.
Engage in business development and proposal cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with codes and standards; perform QC/ITR.
