Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Construction Manager to lead water facility network construction projects. You will manage two inspectors, coordinate construction with operations and regulatory authorities, ensure adherence to designs, budgets, and schedules, and oversee third-party inspectors and material control.

Responsibilities include overseeing permits, on-site administration, and document control, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with 10–15 years water utility construction experience.
• Bachelor’s in Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct water facility construction coordination/management experience.
• Experience with inventory management and GIS/GPS data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities with operations and Transmission & Distribution groups.
• Decide on construction techniques and schedule operations in detailed steps.
• Instruct inspectors and track materials, supplies and contractors.
• Secure permits and licenses for projects by the Project Manager.
• Manage on-site construction administration and inspection and maintain documents.
