Job summary

Veolia North America LLC seeks a Civil Engineer to lead capital projects across water infrastructure in the West Region. You will plan, schedule, and control costs while coordinating field activities with operations and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, issuing change orders, tracking budgets, and ensuring safety and quality. Domestic travel (~20%) is required; you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years managing capital projects with budgets from $500k to $10M.
• Experience in water/wastewater facilities, pumps, pipelines, or utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, plan and supervise company and contractor staff.
• Coordinate with Operations, M&O and clients; monitor budgets and schedules.
• Prepare requisitions, change orders and contractor authorizations.
• Review drawings and ensure quality standards and documentation.
• Support cost estimates, proposals and asset management strategies.
