Job summary

Garney is seeking a Business Development Manager with water and wastewater industry experience to lead regional client development and strategic growth. You will work closely with Operations to shape pursuit strategies, oversee Go/No-Go decisions, and guide proposal teams from capture to interview.

Applicants should have a 4-year degree and 5+ years in water infrastructure, with familiarity in CMAR, Design Build, and P3 delivery models.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree; Engineering/Construction Management a plus.
• 5+ years in water infrastructure programs and strategic business development.
• Strong understanding of CMAR, Design Build, P3 and other collaborative delivery methods.
• Willingness to travel occasionally with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with regional public, private, and industrial clients and stakeholders.
• Develops and leads regional business development strategy with Operations teams.
• Leads Go/No-Go decisions and viability of pursuits.
• Leads proposal process from capture planning to submission/interview stage.
• Collaborates with Garney Marketing, Estimating, and Operations to introduce Garney to prospects.
