Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air Inc. in Illinois is hiring a Water Heater Install Helper to support our installation team and learn hands-on water heater installation skills.

You will assist with installations and replacements for both tank and tankless water heaters, help load/unload tools, and ensure job sites are clean and safe while delivering a positive customer experience. No advanced plumbing experience is required, but a willingness to learn, good work ethic, and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Some plumbing, construction, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn residential plumbing and installation techniques.
• Comfortable working in residential homes and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installers with water heater installations and replacements.
• Help with installation of tank and tankless water heaters.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare job sites and ensure work area is clean and safe.
• Assist with plumbing connections, fittings, piping, and other installation tasks.
• Follow direction from lead installers and learn proper installation techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle, tools, and job site.
• Provide a positive and professional experience for homeowners.
