PuroClean of Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Water & Fire Mitigation Supervisor to lead residential and commercial mitigation projects. This working supervisor role requires taking ownership, guiding technicians, communicating confidently with customers, and solving field issues alongside the team.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, hands-on involvement, and accountability, with a family-owned restoration company culture that values doing the job right.

Qualifications

• Minimum restoration industry experience required.
• Experience as supervisor/lead technician preferred.
• Strong water mitigation and structural drying knowledge required.
• Fire/smoke and mold remediation experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation projects.
• Supervise and work alongside mitigation technicians.
• Manage jobs from initial response through completion.
• Evaluate losses and determine mitigation and drying procedures.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment.
• Coordinate technicians, equipment, and daily job activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including photos, moisture readings, logs, and notes.
• Communicate with customers and obtain work authorizations.
• Collaborate with office, estimating, and management teams.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites and equipment.
• Train and coach technicians, holding them accountable.
